I've re-created the USB several times and get the same error. The USB is being created on my MacBook Pro (12,1) and has been used for a successful install on the 7,1 - I subsequently had to finish setup to access system info, so am re-installing the OS, which is what is causing the problem. None of the suggested resolutions with Sierra work due to using a USB. Using a bootable USB, I get the error 'This copy of the Install macOS Sierra.app application is damaged, and can't be used to install macOS'. I'm trying to install macOS High Sierra on a mid-2010 MacBook Pro (7,1).
